This virtual workshop is designed to help students understand the importance of studying the Holocaust. The program will also introduce students to significant factors that can help us understand how this cataclysmic event unfolded.
The workshop will examine:
- How Nazi ideology operated as a driving force behind the decision to destroy European Jewry.
- Key historical events that culminated in the mass shootings of Jews and the establishment of extermination camps.
- An explanation of how the persecution and murder of Jews was central to the aim of the Nazi regime to establish an empire in Europe.
