In this program, students will explore the conditions that facilitated the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party as well as the methods used by the regime to take, consolidate and maintain power as part of the IB History topic, Authoritarian States (20th Century).
This program is designed to enhance students’ content knowledge and critical thinking skills as they consider key historical concepts such as change, causation and significance. Through this program, students will have the chance to engage with both primary and secondary perspectives as they expand their understanding of the impact of the Nazi Party as an authoritarian regime.
