This year’s theme for Book Week 2023 Dreaming with Eyes Open gives power to the imagination for us to envisage a better world. Join us in this online workshop for a conversation with author Jackie French, and discuss how writers do their research then develop that material into enthralling and compelling stories. Next, take a closer look at some of the fascinating books in the museum’s collection, and unpack the histories of the people and events they portray.
