Expert Talk with Professor Jan Grabowski

Speaker: Professor Jan Grabowski

Between Spring 1942 and Spring 1943, the Germans conducted Einsatz Reinhardt, or mass-murder of the Polish Jews, the largest Jewish community in Europe.

In the early spring and in the summer of 1942, the extermination camps in Bełżec, Sobibór and Treblinka became factories of death, claiming the lives of 1.5 million innocent victims.

Join us online for this expert talk, which will look at the horrifying liquidations of the ghettos, operations conducted with unimaginable brutality. It will also shed light how Jewish people reacted to the German genocidal policies, as well as the attitudes of bystanders.
