A talk by Cliff Rosenberg, LinkedIn Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, Rosenberg’s focus is driving awareness and uptake of LinkedIn’s products, including recruitment and marketing solutions.
He will discuss the evolution of the platform and how LinkedIn has grown over the years.
The event will provide a chance for young professionals to discuss the world of professional networking.
Since January 2010, Rosenberg has set up offices in Sydney and Melbourne, growing the local team to more than 150 staff, including sales, marketing and public relations personnel.
Rosenberg has a distinguished career in the digital space spanning more than 20 years, both as an entrepreneur and executive. He was formerly the managing director of Yahoo! Australia and New Zealand where he was responsible for all aspects of the local operation for more than three years. He holds a number of directorships including Australia’s leading online restaurant booking platform Dimmi.com.au.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, Rosenberg was the founder and managing director of iTouch Australia and New Zealand, a leading wireless application service provider. He grew the Australian office to one of the largest mobile content and application providers in Australia with key partnerships with companies such as Ninemsn, Yahoo!, Telstra and Vodafone. Previously, Rosenberg was head of corporate strategy for Vodafone Australasia and also served as an international management consultant with Gemini Consulting and Bain Consulting.
He earned a Master of Science in management as well as a Bachelor’s degree of business science in economics and marketing.
