Gideon Aran addressed the topic of Religious Radicalism in Israel.
Gideon is an Emeritus Professor of Sociology & Anthropology at The Hebrew University, Jerusalem and the current Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund Academic Exchange Fellow.
His writing and teaching concern fundamentalism in the three Abrahamic traditions; extremist cults and militant movements and religious terrorism, in various Western and Middle Eastern contexts, especially with regard to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
