Joanne’s two cookbooks The Holocaust Survivor Cookbook and its sequel Miracles & Meals are a collection of over 240 stories and over 500 recipes collected from Holocaust Survivors form around the world.
Joanne will share how the cookbooks were created and relate several of the most moving and miraculous stories that appear in the two books. Copies of Joanne’s cookbook will be available for purchase at the event. All profits are donated to Jewish charities.
Joanne has given over 300 speeches around the world and has appeared on Fox-TV, CBS, NBC, and national radio in the US, Canada, and Israel. Her TV show Miracles & Meals with Joanne Caras appears on Mondays at 9 PM on Jewish Life TV, which is available in over 40 million homes in the United States and 116 countries.
