Remember Me is a unique opportunity to hear a personal account of the Holocaust by a Survivor. Our September speaker is Kathleen (Kitty) Lowinger.
“I was a young girl when the Nazis invaded Budapest. Grandfather, father and mother were all taken to Labor Camps by the Nazis. Thankfully, my mother escaped, and she and I spent the remainder of the war hiding in the ruins of Central Budapest.”
“After the war, my mother and I escaped from Communist Hungary and arrived in Sydney, Australia on the 03rd November, 1945.”
“I beleive that we all need to respect and believe in ourselves. Never be a victim – but always a Survivor.” – Kathleen Lowinger
