Remember Me is a unique opportunity to hear a personal account of the Holocaust by a Survivor. The speaker is Egon Sonnenschein.
“I was born in Ptuj, Slovenia (formerly Yugoslavia) on the 24 September 1930.
When Nazi Germany invaded Yugoslavia my family were forced to flee to Croatia, Slovenia and then Switzerland before finding friendship and safety in Switzerland.
A student once wrote to me: I thought that the Nazis were right in what they had done, but you really changed my mind. That letter underlined the importance of informing visitors about the Holocaust so such atrocities never happen again.” – Egon Sonnenschein.
