Remember Me is a unique opportunity to hear a personal account of the Holocaust by a Survivor. Our May speaker is Peter Reismann
“I was born in Budapest, Hungary on the 27th April 1939.
When the Nazis invaded, my mother and I hid in a bunker outside of Budapest where we stayed for over a year. Bunker life was hard. We had little food and absolutely no freedom.
My father was deported, but managed to escape. It took him three months to walk back to Budapest. The day before liberation my mother gave birth to my sister in the bunker. Getting out of the bunker was the greatest moment of my life.” – Peter Reismann
Admission $5 members / $10 non members
