Professor Roskies will offer analysis of Holocaust literature of all genres, countries and major languages – proceeding from the literature of mobilization and mourning in the Free World to the self-conscious “authorized memory” in which we live today.

He also serves as the Naomi Prawer Kadar Visiting Professor of Yiddish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Roskies was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2012.
Professor Roskies is in Australia as Monash University’s Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation Kronhill Visiting Scholar.
