History Extension Student Seminar: Cases and Debates

$35 per student

Who are history makers? How is history constructed? How does history change over time? What really is the purpose of history? Join us for this full-day History Extension Student Seminar when students will interrogate these key questions of the syllabus.

Students will collect new Holocaust based case studies and debates including the Musuem itself as a history maker, the use of new Holocaust Survivor AI technology at the SJM plus the debates surrounding use and misuse of Holocaust history. Amongst these fascinating cases, students will also learn to apply significant historiographical ideas and methodologies as well as gain greater comprehension of the changing approaches to the construction of the past.

  • Session 2: Case Study Workshop 2 – Perspective, Evidence and Technology: Holocaust Survivor AI
  • Session 3: Tour: Exploring the Construction of Memory
