Product Description
30th April – 12th May
Event Cinema, Bondi Junction
The Jewish International Film Festival presents 30 films from 15 countries around the globe, feature films and documentaries exploring events, issues and personal recollections of one of recent history’s most defining episodes which brought forth the darkest, yet also the most noble aspects of mankind.
Films about the Holocaust tell universal stories as well as those that are deeply personal. They tap into the very human themes of courage, tragedy, identity and hope, often in an attempt to make sense of the incomprehensible.
Some of our highlights include Claude Lanzmann: Spectres of the Shoah, Song of Songs, Drawing Against Oblivion and Opening Night film, Remember.
We are proud to present the 2016 series and hope to see you there!
The Sydney Jewish Museum is a proud partner of the Jewish International Film Festival.
Tickets can be purchased through Event Cinemas.
