We invite you to attend a special event being held in association with the 2016 Jewish International Film Festival.

1946, Poland. Rudolf Franz Ferdinand Höss, the longest serving commander of Auschwitz concentration camp, is awaiting trial in a Polish prison. Albert Piotrowski, a young Jewish prosecutor, is appointed to interrogate Hoss and elicit the perfect confession from him.

The session will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:

• Professor Angus Dawson, Director, Centre for Values, Ethics and the Law in Medicine (VELIM), University of Sydney
• Dr Avril Alba, Lecturer in Holocaust Studies and Jewish Civilisation in the Department of Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies, University of Sydney, and Sydney Jewish Museum

The panel will be chaired by Associate Professor Michael Robertson, psychiatrist and academic, VELIM, and Visiting Professorial Fellow, Sydney Jewish Museum.
