Antares Wells will talk about From the Children of Athena to the Children of Chance: Understanding the Mentality of the ‘Hitler Youth Generation.
This lecture examines the ways in which non-Jewish Germans of the so-called ‘Hitler Youth Generation’ have processed their experiences of National Socialism, particularly with regard to their role in the Holocaust.
Antares completed Honours in History at the University of Sydney in 2012 and now works as a researcher for the curatorial department at the Sydney Jewish Museum.
