Sydney Jewish Museum is closed to the general public for redevelopment. We remain open for school excursions and corporate groups.
Interested in seeing one of Sydney’s most beautiful landmarks and learning more about Judaism? Add a one-hour tour to The Great Synagogue to your museum program. The Great Synagogue is a magnificent Victorian era building in the heart of the CBD and the earliest surviving Synagogue in Sydney.
The Museum can book a one-hour tour of the Synagogue to be conducted before or after your museum visit. The tour enhances your learning experience, providing further insight into Jewish practices, customs and traditions. Tours are led by the Synagogue Rabbi and expert guides.
The Great Synagogue is a short 15-minute walk from the Sydney Jewish Museum.
