In this lesson, students undertake a guided inquiry task to learn about the site at Babyn Yar. This site saw the massacre of over 33,000 Jews in two days in September 1941. When compared to the death camps of Poland, this is an example of how Nazi policy was implemented in different ways in different parts of the world.
