This German ‘Mercedes Prima’ brand typewriter features a Hebrew keyboard. Pola, the donor’s mother, used to call it “the Yiddish typewriter”. She and her husband bought it in Berlin after World War II. They had spent the War in hiding in Poland, and then relocated to Germany after liberation.
