Tuesday 11 March

4 pm – 5.30pm

1.5 hours of NESA accredited training

The recollections of witnesses are an invaluable source in understanding perspectives of the past. Still, like all sources, such memories need to be approached with a variety of historiological tools.

This session is designed to introduce you to both the methods and issues associated with the expression of memories about the past. In addition, we will demonstrate pedagogies by which to facilitate the process of introducing students to survivors of the Holocaust, and enable the students to get more from the experience of engaging with first-hand recollections.
