It has become a commonplace to attribute the Nazi party’s success to “propaganda”, but what exactly does that term denote?
By isolating several different examples of the phenomenon, we hope to demonstrate the specific role that propaganda played within Germany at this time and consider the uses to which it was put. how it was used.
This seminar will focus on examples of visual propaganda, but will also refer to other forms utilised by the Nazi regime.
