While the recollections of witnesses are an invaluable source, they (like all sources) need to be approached with a variety of historiological tools.
What must be kept in mind when considering survivor testimony? What are the various ways in which survivors’ testimonies might be problematised?
This session is designed to facilitate the process by which teachers introduce students to survivors of the Holocaust, and enable the students to get more from the experience of engaging with first-hand recollections.
