Join us to launch Night Lessons in Little Jerusalem, a fictional book by Rick Held based on the memoirs of his late father.
This story shines a light on a corner of history that deserves greater attention: the Romanian Holocaust, as well as the plight of the Romani and Jewish people who lived through those times. It also tells the story of Chernivtsi, a unique city in Eastern Europe and the official birthplace of the Yiddish language.
With the help of Museum Historian, Emeritus Professor Konrad Kwiet, Rick has done extensive research, including input from Holocaust survivors locally and around the world.
