This full-day interactive online session is the ideal way for HSC Modern History students to revise Power and Authority in the Modern World: 1919-1946 before their HSC examination.

Each workshop is linked to a particular syllabus dotpoint, enabling students to cover key content knowledge, practice critical exam skills, as well as analyse artefacts and sources relevant to the unit of study. Students will be taught by our expert education team and have the opportunity to ask questions during the day.

Workshop 1 (9.30 – 10.15am): Overview of the peace treaties which ended World War I
Workshop 2 (10.15 – 11.15am): The Rise of Nazism and Consolidation of Power
Break (11:15 – 11:45am)
Workshop 3 (11:45am – 12:45pm): Nazi Ideology and the Role of Prominent Individuals
Break (12:45 – 1.15pm)
Workshop 4 (1.15 – 2.15pm): Methods of Control
Workshop 5 (2:15 – 3.00pm): Opposition to the Nazi Regime
