Alessi Mezuzah designed by Dror Benshetrit (2010) for the Jewish Museum of NY.
The mezuzah represents connection and belonging. Dror merges two forms that represent past and present, tradition and religion, ritual and habitual. The letter shin that is usually on the face of the mezuzah has been incorporated into the topography of the textured form, left for you to discover.
Approximately 10.5cm high, 3.5cm wide
