Take a tour of ‘The Fate of Things: Memory Objects and Art’ with artist Anne Zahalka in this 45 minute Art Talk.
Anne will walk visitors through the Museum’s current contemporary art exhibition, speaking to both hers and Sylvia Griffin’s artworks.
This is an opportunity to understand the nature of inherited trauma from the Holocaust, an event that neither artist actually lived through. Through installation art, video, photography and sculpture, Anne and Sylvia lay bare the loss of their predecessors and how their histories have shaped their characters today.
