A million visitors have already passed through the doors of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews since it opened in April 2013 in Warsaw. Professor Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett will explore how Jewish museums in post-Holocaust Europe are serving as agents of transformation that can move a whole society forward.

Professor Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is Chief Curator of the Core Exhibition at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. She currently serves on Advisory Boards for the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, Council of American Jewish Museums, Vienna Jewish Museum, Berlin Jewish Museum, and Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow.

The Museum’s Wednesday Lecture series provides a valuable opportunity for our volunteer guides and Museum Members to  to expand their skills and understanding of the Holocaust.
