Tim Fischer, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Ambassador to the Vatican will discuss his biography and the figure at its centre, Sir John Monash.

Monash was the son of German-Jewish migrants who settled in Victoria. An engineer by training and committed army reservist, he rose to the rank of General and became, arguably, the most outstanding Allied commander in the whole of the First World War.

The book will be available for purchase at the event.
