Sunday 20th October
Limited tickets available
Hear Holocaust survivor Olga Horak tell her inspiring story of survival.
Olga was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in 1926. When the war broke out in 1939, life changed dramatically for Olga and her family.
Olga lost her sister, father and grandparents, who were all taken to the gas chambers at Auschwitz concentration camp. Olga and her mother survived the war together in Auschwitz. However, the day after liberation, she lost her mother too, and was all alone in the world.
After the war, Olga met and married John Horak in Bratislava. Together they moved to Australia in 1949 to start their new lives.
There are limited tickets left for Olga’s talk. For ticket enquiries, please call the Museum on 9360 7999.
