The President and Board of the NSW Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Woman have great pleasure in inviting you to our 2015 Remembrance Day Commemoration & Wreath Laying Ceremony.

With special guest speaker Rabbi Dr Benjamin Elton – the newly appointed Chief Minister of The Great Synagogue, Sydney Author and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society of London who will speak on “Anglo Jewry and the Two World Wars”.

The event will conclude with  the showing of a new short film produced by Wendy Bookatz. “Things would have so Different Had Lionel Returned”  is the story of a young Jewish man who enlisted in WWII and lost his life in a bomber that was was shot down over Germany.

NAJEX will also make a presentation to the Sydney Jewish Museum of the significant collection of medals, correspondence and documents of Gunner Mervyn Abraham Feder (z”l), which it recently acquired at auction.
