This event at Clare Gallery in Double Bay, held in conjunction with Stewart Levitt, Odelia Carmon and Geoff Todd, will honour the memory of William Cooper, an Aboriginal Australian who petitioned against the treatment of Jews in Europe in 1938.

Geoff Todd will present his painting titled A River, which he has donated to the Sydney Jewish Museum’s collection.

Stewart Levitt will recite a selection of poetry from his recently published anthology, Too Soon to Be Late. Levitt’s poetry is centred around his liberal values, Jewish heritage and experience as an Australian lawyer.

This is a free event. However, RSVP is essential.
