This performance by award-winning storyteller Anna Conomos and Cretan musician Adonis Petrandonakis tells the heart-wrenching tale of Greece during the Battle of Crete in WWII and the subsequent Cretan resistance against the Nazi forces.
The evening will include untold narratives of survivors who, as children, experienced the Battle of Crete and were active in the resistance against the Nazi forces, the stories and the fate of the Jews of Crete, and the life of the Jewish community of Chania.
