The NSW Association of Jewish Service and Ex-Service Men and Women will hold their Annual General Meeting at the Sydney Jewish Museum.
Refreshments will be offered from 10.15am, with the meeting commencing at 10.30am and concluding at 11am.
From 11am, Peter Allen will deliver a talk on the Jewish experience of World War I and the Centenary of Anzac. Peter will explore some of the myths and stories of Jews in WWI, including thousands of Iron Crosses and the 1700 Australian Jewish diggers – of whom almost 200 died on service.
