In this FREE Lunchtime Lecture Desmond Freeman will contextualise and demystify the design process used in designing exhibitions and galleries for major museums.

Desmond will use examples from his own extensive portfolio including a detailed look at the reasoning and inspiration behind the design of the Children’s Memorial he designed at the Sydney Jewish Museum in 2002.

In his talk, Desmond will reveal some ‘behind-the-scenes’ accounts of working with a range of clients as diverse as the Vatican, The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich UK, The Australian National Archives in Canberra, the Sydney Jewish Museum, the Melbourne Museum and the Ayala Museum in the Philippines.
