Sunday 8 September
The Sydney Jewish Museum is proud to launch The Collaborator, a new book from internationally acclaimed author and child Holocaust survivor, Diane Armstrong.
Based on a true story set in Hungary during World War II, The Collaborator explores the moral complexities and tragic consequences of a daring act by a Jewish activist who dares to confront Adolf Eichmann to rescue over 1500 Hungarian Jews from the camps.
To launch the book, Diane will be in conversation with ABC interviewer Michaela Kalowski. Michaela regularly facilitates panels at both the Sydney Writers’ Festival and Sydney Film Festival, and has interviewed many writers and thinkers from the worlds of arts, science and politics.
This is a free event but bookings are essential.
