To celebrate History Week, we are keeping our doors open until late and opening up our display cases –metaphorically – to tell you the unique, moving stories behind our historic objects, from the owners themselves.

From 5.30-7pm, meet survivors of the Holocaust, engage with them, and learn about history and humanity through a new, humbling lens. They will be seated throughout the Museum, next to their objects, available to tell their stories to visitors passing by.

From 7pm, guides will be available throughout the Museum to continue to shed light on the histories within the display cases, and to tell some of the lesser known stories behind the objects within our collection.

Storytelling is at the core of so many cultures; it gives personal meaning and humanity to historical records, facts and figures. Our Holocaust survivors and Museum guides are incredibly powerful storytellers.

You are also welcome to explore our exhibitions on your own.

Your ticket includes a glass of wine and refreshments.
