This forum will explore the human rights of people with disabilities from the esteemed perspective of Professor Patricia O’Brien, Director of the Centre for Disability Studies. She will provide insight into her ongoing work with inclusive education and people with disabilities.
Professor O’Brien promotes access to tertiary education for students with intellectual disabilities and over the last three years has worked with the University of Sydney to welcome a group of students with intellectual disability to audit university papers of interest.
The evening will include a lecture from Professor O’Brien and an opportunity for Q&A on the topic of disability rights.
