Sunday 26 November
Location: TBA (in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs)
5.40pm – 7.30pm
Nearly a million Jewish people were expelled from Islamic countries in the 20th Century. They were forced to flee their homes, and the lands where their families had lived for millennia.
Join us for the annual commemoration event – hosted by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and other communal organisations – in recognition of their plight.
This story is an important part of modern Jewish history, the entire Jewish diaspora and the demographic composition of the Middle East and North Africa.
This is a free event. Location TBA, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Registration is essential via the link below.
