This ceremony will commemorate the 81st anniversary of Kristallnacht, The Night of Broken Glass.

Kristallnacht marked the onset of the Holocaust. Nazi forces set fire to about 1,000 synagogues, destroyed 7,000 Jewish owned businesses, arrested 30,000 Jews and murdered 91 in Germany and Austria.

On the theme of ‘Courage to Speak’, the keynote address will be given by Dr Stephen D. Smith, Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation.
