In his memoir, Beyond Survival, German-born Holocaust survivor Ken Arkwright OAM writes with incredible detail about the progress of life through the Great Depression, the rise of the Nazis and the Second World War.
Arkwright was born in Breslau, Germany in 1929, and settled in Australia in 1949. He is the author of several books, speaks regularly at conferences, and has a long history of involvement in Perth’s Jewish communal life, including Holocaust education.
Arkwright is now in his 90s, and writes about his life and experiences with impeccable clarity.
The launch of Beyond Survival is held in conjunction with the Australian Friends of the Hebrew University Jerusalem.
