Remember Me is a unique opportunity to hear a personal account of the Holocaust by a Survivor. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr Dasia Black-Gutman will be replacing Olga Horak as our August speaker.
“I was born in Rzeszow, Poland on the 8th February 1938, just 18 months before Hitler invaded the Eastern part of the country.”
“At age three, my parents and I were confined to a ghetto in Zbaraz, a small town in Galacia. There, we survived a number of killing raids, but my parents knew we would never be safe. They put me in the care of a Polish Catholic woman to live in secret as an ‘Aryan’ child.”
“My parents were killed when I was four years old. They gave me away to strangers for my own protection.”
Admission $5 members / $10 non members
